With friends like these, who needs enemies?!

Posted by Dave Seaman on Tuesday, 8 May 2012

About Friends With Guns:

In this free location-based game, you launch missiles at your new found enemies and avoid being hit by physically moving to avoid their attacks. It is a kill or be killed, as you are rouge spy with access to a massive arsenal of missiles and mines which can be deployed strategically to deliver the most damage to enemies before they get you. Deprive your enemies of sleep and make them move, because as you will learn, everything depends on time and location.

How to play:

Players simply visit friendswithguns.com on their iPhone or Android phone.  Every 10 minutes can check in and receive credits which are used to launch missiles and mines or deploy shields against incoming missiles. Incoming missiles can be avoided by physically moving locations and checking in.  Charge your cloak by checking in throughout the day, and enabling it before going to bed to avoid getting attacked while you sleep.

Strategy Tips:

1) Make a habit of checking in when walking out of a building. Missiles go to the last checked in location, so if you are leaving, you can easily checkin anywhere else and avoid a friend's missile.

2) Launch a cheap missile first. Once your enemy checks in by deploying a shield or avoids the missile, then launch your heavy artillery.

3) Launch your expensive missiles late at night or early in the morning as your enemy may forget to use their cloak.
