Visual game creation for Windows, Mac and Linux - Introducing "BLABA".

Posted by Dave Seaman on Monday, 14 May 2012

Building video games is one of the most important, and awesome, tasks that a human being can undertake.

But it was just too darned hard… Until today.

Introducing: "BLABA" (aka "Bryan Lunduke's Awesome Blocks of Awesome").

The idea is simple: Think of BLABA like a drawing or painting program -- that builds video games.

You start by defining your “Palette” of “blocks” to work with (including how each block will interact with other blocks in your game).  Then you draw your game.  Easy peasy.  All visual.  No "coding".  Absolutely anyone can do it.

A few things worth noting:
1) BLABA runs on Windows, MacOS X and Linux.
2) Registered users will be able to build stand-alone versions of their games for all three platforms (and one mystery platform that will be announced in the coming weeks).
3) Right now BLABA is in Beta.  During Beta the price is only $25.  After Beta the price goes up to $35.
4) "BLABA Beta" is fun to say.
