Chronology has now gone live on Steam Greenlight. It's the product of 5 Danish guys (OSAO Games) working hard on the game for a year, and is a co-op platformer / adventure game featuring a time-travelling inventor and a ... small snail.
The team's own description of the game:
"The player controls an Inventor who is able to travel between before and after a disaster that has ended the world with the switch of a button. The inventor teams up with a sticky snail who can climb walls and stop time. Combining the character's abilities, the player must solve puzzles in a quest to undo the destruction of the world.
An example of such a puzzle could be planting a small root below an unreachable platform in the past and then traveling to the future where the root has grown into a big tree that can be climbed to reach the platform.
The game is set in a mechanical fantasy world that is brought to life though painted graphics inspired by Hayao Miyazaki and Shaun Tan.
Chronology stars the upcoming voice-actor Brett Donnelly as the inventor and the game celeb Nicki Rapp (Walking Dead, Psychonauts, The Sims and Broken Age) as Snail."
