GameJolt host their 10th Game Contest

Some news from our friends at GameJolt:

Game Jolt have announced a game jam competition, Game Jolt Contest 10.

It's going to be our biggest and craziest official contest yet. We have 392 participants signed up (as of when I'm typing this), and we're expecting to hit 500 soon. With some help spreading the word, there's no telling how big this could get!

For this contest, we're trying to encourage developers to branch out socially and creatively, to collaborate and push themselves to try something new, maybe something they wouldn't otherwise attempt.

Prizes: The main point is to have fun, but we're assembling a prize package that's so cool as to almost defy belief. We're giving each of the top 3 entrants a huge bundle of indie games that includes new classics like Super Hexagon and highly anticipated upcoming titles like Zak Ayles' LIONESS and Deconstructeam's Gods Will Be Watching. Winners will also get a few other treats, like game soundtracks, t-shirts, art prints, and possibly an ebook. The final prize list will be announced at the start of the contest, but you can preview it here:

Dates: The madness starts on November 9, 2013 at midnight Eastern Time EST (US & Canada) and ends at midnight Eastern Time on November 18, 2013.

Theme: The theme will be announced at the start of the competition, but there are clues on the contest homepage...

How to enter: You can sign up on the contest homepage. You'll need a Game Jolt developer account, which is a cinch to create.

Contest homepage:

We've got an active community and developers will be livestreaming, posting, tweeting, etc., so there are plenty of ways for people to follow the action even if they're not making a game.
