Neon Zone: A minimalistic puzzle game with a twist!

Posted by Dave Seaman on Thursday, 3 November 2011

Developed by: House on Fire ApS

Neon Zone is a gravity-based puzzle game that turns simple lines and figures into challenging puzzles which can often be solved in multiple ways. The design features glowing colours and an ambient soundscape.

The objective is simple: Place your cube anywhere on the field and slide the cube to absorb all the energy spheres in order to advance to the next level.

The challenge lies in turning your phone in order to reach all the spheres without falling off the screen. This combined with the classic platformer mechanic makes for a unique playing experience.

Each level in Neon Zone has three achievements to collect, these being a turns achievement a jump achievement and a time achievement. Sometimes a level has to be replayed in order to collect all three achievements. Because these achievements are not needed to progress through the game, Neon Zone can be as casual or as challenging as you want.

Neon Zone is designed to be a casual pick-up-and-play experience and can be enjoyed whether you have thirty seconds or an hour to spare.
