Posted by Dave Seaman on Wednesday, 31 August 2011

Genova, Italy - UNAgames, an indie game developer studio, today announces that they will run a special contest on the first two days of launch of Tapsteroids, its arcade style action shooter game for iOS devices. On Thursday, September 1st and Friday, September 2nd for every 100 copies sold of Tapsteroids a $10 US iTunes Gift Card will be given away to players. Therefore it's simple: more players, more gift cards, more chances to win!

UNAgames wants to celebrate the release of its new iOS game Tapsteroids looking to reward many of its players: subscribing with their Game Center nicknames and submitting a score playing with Tapsteroids will suffice to win the prizes. Players can subscribe using Facebook, Twitter or via UNAgames website.

About Tapsteroids:
Tapsteroids will be on sale on Thursday, September 1st and will cost just $.99. This fast-peaced space action shooter is a tribute to the classic arcade games in the era of touch. The player is assigned the important task of protecting navigation routes from dangerous storms of asteroids that infest the space, ensuring the safety of all spacecraft operating in his area and landing to his space station. Featuring over 20 achievements as well as Game Center integration, Retina Display graphics (also on iPad!), four different weapons, infinite levels for hours of gameplay, Tapsteroids will keep players entertained for a good while.

UNAgames is an indie game development studio based in Genoa, Italy, focused on iPhone, iPod touch and iPad devices. The team is comprised of Daniele, a cutting-edge programmer with a AAA development experience and Erika, a mathematician with a passion for graphics.
