Zero Ballistics Released (tank warfare for the PC and Linux)

Posted by Dave Seaman on Monday, 20 December 2010

The game is designed as a multiplayer online title, featuring some fast-paced tank action. There are two opposing teams battling each other with heavily armed and armored tanks.

Players control their tank from the ego-perspective and fire weapons with a ballistic trajectory at their enemies, which requires a good aiming skill. Each player can equip his tank with different primary and secondary weapons and can choose from a range of additional skills. As the game progresses, players are able to upgrade their tanks with weapon, speed and armor enhancements.

The full version features:

* Three levels set in an alpine environment
* One arena Level
* Three different main weapons, and three secondary weapons
* Six different skills
* BeaconStrike, Deathmatch and Team Deatchmatch modes
* Best of all, it's absolutely FREE to play and OpenSource

(The game is free of charge - at least at the moment. Not sure what the studio's long-term plans are in this regard.)
