Fireflame Games today released Dungeon Raid 1.0.1 for iPhone and iPod touch users. The game's concept calls into use the best strategy skills that a player can muster, a kind of cross between a roleplaying game and Puzzle Quest, where players must trace a line of tiles for rewards while avoiding the enemy. Users can play their own music, save a game and return to finish later, as well as select from three different levels of difficulty.
Sydney, Australia - Announcing that Fireflame Games, the developers of Dungeon Raid, has released an addictive product for iPhone and iPod touch users. This is a new launch, a game app that has received rave reviews from users who have been delightedly surprised at just how much fun it is. The game's concept calls into use the best strategy skills that a player can muster, a kind of cross between a roleplaying game and Puzzle Quest, where players must trace a line of tiles for rewards while avoiding the enemy. An update for Dungeon Raid is already in the works, which will provide an additional fifteen new enemy types and ten new skills to the already feature-rich game.
Dungeon Raid is a new product launch in the AppStore. It combines the best elements of Puzzle Quest and roleplaying concepts to provide the ultimate in fun and challenge for game players. The object of the game is for players to trace a line of matching tiles for points. Naturally, there is a nemesis to avoid but a player may not realize where the enemy is hiding until it's too late. Hence, there is the need for keen awareness and strategy. It also serves a player well to remember that the enemy improves as the game continues.
Any points that players earn throughout gameplay can be used to move up a level, as well as purchase or upgrade equipment. There are some cool extras for players of Dungeon Raid. They can play their own music, save a game and return to finish later, as well as select from three different levels of difficulty, including an easy relaxing level for learning the game or when a player feels like something a little slower paced.
Dungeon Raid has been specifically designed and developed for optimum enjoyment on an iPhone or iPod touch. Judging from the comments already appearing in iTunes, the app is a rave success. Players have reported being surprised at just how much fun the game is and how far it has exceeded their expectations.
