"Subject 13" is the new adventure game developed by Paul Cuisset ("Flashback", "Future Wars", "Moto Racer"...) in collaboration with Microïds ("Syberia", "Amerzone"...). In "Subject 13", the player embodies Franklin Fargo, a discreet physics professor. Franklin leads a lonely and bitter life since Sophie, her fiancée, was killed during a robbery. One morning, he wakes up in a scientific abandoned underground plant with only one link with the outside world: a voice that calls him "Subject 13". His goal is to escape from this place where he is being held captive and to find out more about the reasons of his imprisonment.
"Subject 13" is an adventure game in the greatest tradition. It depicts a universe with all kinds of secret hidings, enigmas and mechanisms that the player will have to discover, analyze and activate. But also objects to collect, handle and make good use of in the scenery...
It was supported by the adventure gamers' community with a successful Kickstarter in July 2014.

The sequel takes place seven years after the end of Serafina’s Saga. Serafina’s Crown is a visual novel with elements of fantasy, adventure and romance. Every decision Odell makes as Regent of Darzia will change the story arc to favor different Gods. The game also features a debate system that allows Odell to argue points in court based on the stats she has earned throughout the game. Winning debates furthers Odell’s quest in finding Belatrix’s killer and choosing the next monarch of Darzia.

This fantasy board game come to life combines deep, tactical card play, rich tabletop strategy and RPG elements.
Today with the release of the Armello Teaser Trailer for PS4, League of Geeks is unveiling the game's complete visual upgrade scheduled to hit PS4, PC, Mac and Linux at launch this September. Even with Armello already lauded for its visual achievements, numerous graphical improvements are being made, including volumetric cloud and weather effects, an overhaul of lighting and shaders, high detail character models and an entire remodeling of the environment.
At launch League of Geeks will also double the amount of playable characters currently available in Early Access, increasing the number from four to eight. The male bear clan hero, 'Brun Oakbreaker', highlighted in the assets released today, is the first upcoming character to be revealed. Brun will be playable for the first time at E3 in room 515a in the West Hall.
Set in a vibrant magical world with a tinge of darkness, Armello thrusts players into a Game of Thrones-esque struggle for power in epic single or multiplayer action. Players take on the role of a 'Hero' from one of the four animal clans and navigate their character across the procedurally generated board as they quest, scheme, explore, vanquish monsters, perform the Mad King's royal edicts and face off against other players, with one ultimate goal in mind - storming the palace and becoming King or Queen of Armello.
Players start in their clan grounds and traverse the board with a set number of action points for each turn to spend on moving their character from tile to tile. Each tile presents different consequences including exploring a dungeon, gaining or losing health, claiming a settlement for your own or granting stealth. With more than 100 beautifully animated and illustrated cards, players can cast spells, recruit followers, uncover ancient treasures and execute treacherous plots as they quest for the throne!
There are four ways to win in Armello.
1. Combat - Slaying the king and surviving the confrontation
2. Prestige Victory - Having the most Prestige when the King dies, whether from his afflictions (the King loses health every dawn) or dying in combat with the attacking player also not surviving the battle.
Prestige is gained by completing heroic deeds such as killing other players, vanquishing banes or completing quests
3. Spirit Stone Collection - magical Spirit Stones can be found throughout Armello. If a player collects four, they can use them to assist the King in passing in peace, restoring balance toArmello.
4. Rot Victory - players who defeat the King in combat whilst having more Rot than him (and live to tell the tale) will win the game and shroud Armello in darkness.

Chariot Wars has players racing against the greatest charioteers from across the Roman Empire. Evoking the glory days of chariot racing, the game features a story-led single player Tournament and 8 player multiplayer modes.

Recently released, Farm Satoshi is a farming sim with a difference - can you guess what it is? - yes, you can earn Satoshi from it. (For the uninitiated, Satoshi is the smallest denomination into which Bitcoin can be divided - 100,000,000 Satoshi = 1 Bitcoin.)
The game itself is simple but nicely constructed, I don't play farming sims usually so don't know how it compares to the popular ones but my guess is that it's much simpler to play. Still, there are a few options, leveling up, basic management options and plenty of decisions to be made - you have to make sure you keep stocked up with enough feed (and the right sort of feed for the type of animals you buy) and water, level up your warehouses appropriately, and as your player rating levels up you can buy more types of animal / feed etc, and increase your profit potential.
I'm not sure what the long-term earning potential is, probably not very high, but compared to faucets it's at least a fun way to make some Satoshi. The devs seem intent on getting the players involved and trying to incorporate their ideas too.

Technobabylon has three playable characters: CEL agents Charlie Regis and Max Lao, investigating a serial Mindjacker who's tapping into people's neural wiring and leaving them dead, and agoraphobic net addict Latha Sesame, who might be the Mindjacker's next target. When Charlie's past comes back to haunt him, he and his partner find themselves on opposite sides of the law with Latha's fate in the crossfire. Pixel: ru² just released a series of Trading Cards on Steam that focus on the early history of computers. There are 15 cards in total and they give information about famous machines such as the ENIAC, as well as famous people like Alan Turing and Ada Lovelace.
If you don't know about Pixel: ru², it's a cross between a puzzle-platformer and a shooter with a backstory revolving around artificial intelligence, transhumanism, and the future of life. The game play revolves around both color theory and gravity manipulation.
You play as a pixel moving around image files. There are colored barriers that you can pass through if you’re the same color. You can change your color with switches in the levels that will add or remove values from your red-green-blue color channels.
You also have enemy pixels that'll shoot at you. To destroy them you need to shoot them with the opposite color which will turn them white — a white pixel is a dead pixel. There’s a variety of weapons to use including a flame thrower and a rocket launcher.
Because this takes place in a virtual world, you can both jump and reverse gravity as well as change your gravity direction by touching switches in the levels. Our biggest influence was probably Metal Storm for the NES.

Breach TD is almost here: The spiritual sequel to Squadron TD (the popular StarCraft II mod) launches May 27th on iOS!
BREACH TD is an action-packed mix of tower defense, real-time strategy and MOBA-like gameplay. Starting as a successful crowdfunded project on Kickstarter and developed by Space Rhino Games (the largest studio in Puerto Rico), Breach TD delivers on the campaign’s promises with top-notch graphics, furious tower defense action, 50 mighty Guardians to choose from -- and engaging strategic combat unlike anything else on mobile.
THE STORY SO FAR
First there was the Void, a dimension of darkness and fear. Then a Breach suddenly appeared, allowing the Void army to get through and mount an invasion. Now all that stands between the Void and our world is a group of brave Guardians -- powerful beings in different shapes and sizes, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Seal the Breach!
In Breach TD, each player defends a Bastion tower from menacing Void monsters with a choice of four possible Guardians, aided by powerful relics (Battle Cards) and Mercenaries. The enemy attacks two worlds at a time -- and the player who fails gets consumed by the unrelenting Void, losing the tug of war. Weakening the opposing team's forces is critical to a successful defense. As the game progresses, players are able to deploy Mercenaries to defend their lanes or to overwhelm the opposing team.
Before each battle, players pick from an ever-expanding roster of Guardians and then choose two Battle Cards that bestow buffs such as healing (“Hand of the Ancients”), fire damage (“Fire Nova,” a fire tornado), heavy damage to a small area (“Isochronal Annihilator”), and much more.
Each match is divided into two different phases:
Players have a limited amount of time to buy and strategically place their Guardians on a grid for battle. During this phase, players may also upgrade their Plasma Reactor and Mercenaries tiers.
Guardians defend their bases and battle it out in the middle of the lane. Combat can get intense, since players can deploy Battle Cards as well as Mercenaries to overwhelm the opponent or as a means of defense. Battle Cards have a cooldown period, and Mercenaries have a Plasma cost -- so it’s important to plan every move carefully.
