Award-winning Indie hit goes mobile
Veteran independent game developer Engine Software just launched the award winning Proun+ on the Apple App Store.
Based on its predecessor, Proun+ is the extended, improved and enriched edition of the famous multi award winning indie hit game Proun. Proun+ has been built from the ground up, featuring all new levels, music and gameplay.
Proun+ is an art-inspired racing game that lets players race a ball on obstacle-filled, tubular tracks. Each course has been inspired by famous works of modern art from artists such as Mondriaan and Kandinsky. The game offers five speed difficulties, making the game suitable for casual and core players alike. The levels are accompanied by catchy jazz-rock music that is especially written for Proun+.
The original Proun for PC, developed by Joost van Dongen, was received with much critical acclaim and scored Dutch Game Awards for “Best Digital Media” and “Best original Game Design”. The game is so highly regarded in Western Europe that it is frequently displayed in modern art galleries alongside works of Mondriaan and Andy Warhol.
Proun+ supports iPad 2 and iPhone 4 (or higher) and is priced at $ 3.99 / € 3,59 and £ 2.49. Proun+ will also be made available on Nintendo 3DS™ later this year.
