Dortmund, Germany - July 1st, 2014 – Independent game studio Z-Software GmbH introduces their new project “History in Letters – The Eternal Alchemist”.
The members of our team are big adventure fans and for the longest we wanted to make an adventure game. Now this dream becomes reality. After months of planning and working on this game we are proud to show you first artworks and information.
“History in Letters - The Eternal Alchemist” is an adventure game which combines classical point and click aspects with mini game puzzles and hidden object elements.
The game is set in modern day France and includes locations across the country; some will seem familiar to the player.
The main character, Dr. Remy Chaveau, is an upcoming philologist who obtains an old book from a client, an encrypted diary; during his attempts to decipher it one word sticks out like none other: Flamel.
Remy tries to find out more about the things described in the book and with the information from it he starts to travel across the country in hope of finding out more about Flamel and his work. During his adventure he meets new friends; one of them is Stella Morin who helps him on his journey.
“History in Letters - The Eternal Alchemist” is currently in development for PC, Mac and Tablets; in future more platforms might be added.
