Two Tribes permanently lower price for several games

Dutch indie developer Two Tribes have announced permanent price cuts to their games EDGE, RUSH and Toki Tori 1 for Wii U, and also EDGE for 3DS.  The new price is half the previous price - the games are now currently $1.99 or roughly the equivalent in other currencies.

The reason for this change is interesting.  The games were run on a special offer at this price in the Nintendo Shop in both the US and Europe.  Due to a mistake, the special offer price stayed in effect in the US shop for longer.  Comparing sales data, Two Tribes found that they are actually earning more revenue overall because of this mistake - so they decided to lower the prices permanently!  Good news for Nintendo-owning indie game fans.
