This game is still in development, but a large part of the Puzzle Mode is already up and running, and it's a wonderful game. You control a mad cat scientist (well, I'm just assuming he's mad! :-D) controlling a laboratory in which the lab mice have to reach the cheese without dying. To assist them in their quest, you drop shapes - Tetris shapes - into the playing area. As the game goes on, different types of block, as well as special abilities, are introduced.
Without going into too much detail, if you like puzzle games at all, you're going to love Mousecraft - and if you love Tetris and Lemmings, you're going to love it even more. It features a good trade off of challenge vs accessibility - completing a level is often relatively straightfoward, getting the perfect score for that level much more challenging - and it's simply a joy to play. The graphics are great and the music is wonderful.
Waiting for the extra levels to be made and the other play mode to be activated before passing final judgement, but so far Mousecraft is most definitely a winner. Check out the Official Website for more info.
