"Hope: The other side of the adventure". Playing with the frontiers of video games.

So we've all played the handsome prince dashing to the rescue of the princess who is, invariably, imprisoned in a tower somewhere.  But what's it like for the princess?  That's the unusual scenario that Madrid-based indie studio Mr Roberto have taken with tier debut title "Hope".  Even stranger is that they've described their first game as an "anti-game".  It's designed as an experience that takes you 5 minutes per day for 6 days, allowing you to share the experience of the imprisoned princess.  

It's the sort of thing that you would never get from mainstream gaming publishers.  I don't know if it's weirdly wonderful or just weird, but you can play it for free and find out yourself. Here are some screenies:
