Each enemy kill results in an increase in money, which a player can use to purchase more power or new 'soldiers'. Each play level offers users a choice of easy, medium and hard gameplay and there is an additional option for true die-hards called, "Endless mode".

Freeesh 1.0 Game for iPhone Selected New & Noteworthy by Apple

realtech VR today released Freeesh 1.0 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. Freeesh charges players with the mission to feed and protect a small nucleus. The environment is fraught with dangers from larger molecules and red molecules that would eat the nucleus. Gameplay is fun and engrossing with a chilling soundtrack, reminiscent of and inspired by the Flow arcade game. Freeesh allows users to compete globally by way of a leaderboard and achievements.

Montreal, (QC) Canada - Announcing realtech VR , the developer ofFreeesh  , has launched a new product for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. Freeesh is a new game app which charges players with the mission to feed and protect a small nucleus. The environment is fraught with dangers from larger molecules and red molecules that would eat the nucleus. Gameplay is fun and engrossing with a chilling soundtrack, reminiscent of and inspired by the Flow arcade game.

The newly launched Freeesh game app keeps players busy. They must maintain a vigilant eye on the action as there are molecules constantly moving around the screen. The object is to grab the small ones to feed the nucleus they're issued, while avoiding the dangerous ones.

As simple as the gameplay sounds, it becomes increasingly more difficult with each level of advancement. Molecules move faster and their numbers increase. It can certainly keep a player on his or her toes. While the game is engrossing enough on its own, the Realtech developers have included an original, chilling soundtrack that sets the mood perfectly for time spent in a harrowingly dangerous environment. Freeesh allows users to compete globally by way of a leaderboard and achievements.

These are some of the features offered in Freeesh:
* User friendly, intuitive interface
* Accelerometer or Digital Pad control (with iPhone 4 gyroscope support)
* 60 fps gameplay on iPhone 3GS and more
* 3 free levels on a total of 12 levels with increasing challenges (unlockable thru In App Purchase)
* Game Center support with Leaderboard and Achievement
* Personal best times for each levels
* Original chilling soundtrack by Alexel

Although Freeesh is modernly fun and exciting, it has the feel of an original arcade game. Currently an Apple "New & Noteworthy" selection.

"The app was inspired by Flow," said Stephane Denis, CEO of Realtech VR. Flow dealt with aquatic organisms traveling through a biosphere, consuming other organisms. Denis explained further, "We thought the game was so much fun that we tried to emulate it, to maintain the original feel while developing a modern platform and up to date features. We think this gives our users the best of both worlds."

Device Requirements:
* 3G iPhone and iPod touch, iPad
* Requires iOS 4.0 or later
* 8 MB

Pricing and Availability:
Freeesh 1.0 is free of charge with full version available for only $0.99 (USD) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store and the Palm App Store in the Games category.

Dreadnought Design release Tail Gunner HD for iPad

WWII air battle simulation game built with advanced 3D Physics Engine; takes iPad games to a new level of realism

Tail Gunner HD - Dreadnought Design

Hertfordshire, UK – November 26, 2010 Dreadnought Design, authors of the recent arcade game hit for multiple games platforms, Antarctic Antics, venture into the world of exclusive Apple iPad games with Tail Gunner HD, released on iTunes for the iPad 12 November and updated 22 November.

Tail Gunner HD is a stylish air combat simulation game where players take responsibility for the tail gun on a B17 bomber in World War II. Your mission in this classic shoot-em up style game is to defend your aircraft from enemy fire until your pilot reaches bomb targets over war-torn Europe. Plenty of guile and cunning is needed to track and destroy Luftwaffe fighter planes as they swarm around you. But be quick! If you take too many hits from enemy fire, your bomber will crash and burn.

Inspiration for Tail Gunner HD is drawn from Dreadnought Design’s original Tail Gunner game released for the iPhone and iPod Touch in May 2010. A completely new version of the game rather than an upgrade to the existing Tail Gunner title, Tail Gunner HD introduces the game to the iPad with a new range of flight modes, more aircraft types, friendly-fire scenarios, parachuting enemy targets, medal awards, upgraded graphics, plus loads of extras awaiting discovery!

“We wanted to build a completely new version of Tail Gunner exclusively for the iPad,” says John Thornewill, CEO and lead designer at Dreadnought Design. “The iPad as a games platform offers so much more screen [than the iPhone] on which to render graphics – it made it ideal for bringing a 3D realism to Tail Gunner HD.”

The basis of Tail Gunner HD’s realistic graphics is the design team’s use of their 3D Physics Engine. Renditions are smooth and accurate, and glide across the screen effortlessly without any loss of detail. Combined with the use of ‘Intelli-tilt’ artificial intelligence for enemy aircraft targeting, where players tilt their iPads to find enemy targets, it becomes very easy for players to totally immerse themselves in gameplay.

Tail Gunner HD is released with one mission objective – to defend your aircraft on a bombing run. Future upgrades are planned to bring in more mission objectives so as to make the game even more fun and challenging to play.

“Watch this space,” says Thornewill. “We’ll be adding more to the game during 2011 for free!”

Price: $3.99
